Somewhere in the near future people's lives are determined by their genes. At birth a small chip is implanted and DNA-samples are taken to determine their capabilities. Live is plotted out by this implanted chip called PeCap (personal capability).

Rebellion has spread throughout the world, to undermine the government responsible for these chips. In retaliation the government has developed a new update for PeCap: the ability to temporarily shut down it's carrier.

On the eve of this undertaking a private detective gets unwillingly involved, events are in motion in an attempt to destroy the government's plans.
