The storyline promises suspense with a strong
pinch of mystery: It's the story of an author,
who wants to relax after successfully publishing his last book. To escape the strain of
his every day life in London he settles down in a little town called "Devils
End".
After a short time the gamer gets involved in some sinister
murders, which seemed to be figured out by the devil himself ... demons, templars, a
monastery on the hill, your task will be to unravel all mysterious events and connections
to face the final duel at the end ...
Dimension4 specifies the amount of action in this game with
30%. Since the game is mouse-driven and system requirements are relatively small,
one can assume that the average adventure gamer will not be overtaxed here.
To play "Devils End" you will need a Pentium II
processsor with 233 MHz, 32 MB RAM and a 16-bit soundcard. No 3D-accelerator card
is required! Thus there are developers existing who show mercy with those gamers that
don't want or cannot afford every hardware trend.
The game can be played from CD for the most part, only 4 MB
of hard disk space is required for savegames.
In the Moment no release date can be determined, for
Dimension4's negotiations with publishers are not completed.
At any rate we can look forward to the demo of "Devils
End" in february 2001.
Within some days the "Devils End"-Homepage will be available on the
net. Adventure-Archiv will keep you posted.
